He was born June 11, 1943 in Silver City, NM to William Roy Sr. and Beatrice Vasquez Espinosa. Mr. Roy worked as a diamond driller and miner with Sharon Steele. He worked as an auto mechanic, fixing cars for everyone who needed it.
He was a loving father, and grandfather. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife Josephine Roy of the family home; one son, William Roy III of Santa Clara; two grandchildren, Armando Zamora (Erica) of Santa Clara; Servando Suarez (Rosalinda) of Santa Clara; four great grandchildren, Servando Suarez Jr., Wanda Suarez, Kieesah Gandara, and Denasiah Martinez; one great great grandchild Royal Maynes; one brother, George Espinosa (Mary) of Santa Fe; three sisters, Gloria Espinosa of El Paso, TX; Ann Rosales (Pablo) of El Paso, TX; Pat Espinosa of Las Vegas, NV.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Michelle Roy and Wanda Hope Roy.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday, August 20th at 5pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Deacon Art Gutierrez officiating.
Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
