William Joseph Hoak, 71, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Monday, October 15, 2018 at his residence. William was born on December 12, 1946 in Greensburg, PA to Thomas Clark Hoak and Elizabeth Jane Williamson. William is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Norton Hoak; one brother, Scott Presley and his wife Nancy; his mother in law, Helen Norton; his sister in law, Marilyn Norton; his nephews in law, Christian and Chandler Norton; one grandson, Jeremy Burris and his wife Leann and one great granddaughter, Riley Burris all of North Carolina. William served in the Marine Corp for nine years. Beginning in 1968 and he was a Vietnam Veteran. A memorial service will be on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 1:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor, Ronald Binder officiating. An inurnment will take place at Fort Bayard National Cemetery on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warriors Organization.
