Socorro Iguado Mendoza, 82, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces. Socorro was born on December 22, 1940 to Onofre Mendoza and Carmen Iguado in Santa Elouisa Las Varas Madera, Chihuahua, Mexico.
He is survived by two sons, Gerardo Iguado and his wife Rosio of El Paso, TX and Daniel Iguado and his wife Janet of Deming, NM; two daughters, Linda Resendiz and her husband Rafael of San Antonio TX and Luz Garcia and her husband Fernando Reyes of Leadville, CO; one brother, Royce Iguado; three sisters, Zenaida Saenz, Huva Saenz and Estefana Iguado. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife, Luz Alterete.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 12:00pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapel with Pastor, Obed Rivera officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Iguado, Michael Resendiz, Cesar Reyes, Josiah Resendiz, Valentin Iguado, Osman Iguado and Isaac Reyes. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels
