He was born May 25, 1924 in El Paso, TX to Eliseo Moreno and Encarnacion Garza Limas Moreno.
Salvador was a loving, kind and wonderful father, grandfather, and husband. He loved his family with all his heart and was devoted to God. He was a quiet person, especially after the death of his wife who he loved dearly. He lived in Hurley with his wife all his life until his stroke; when both of them had to be taken to St Louis, MO to be taken care of by their daughter. In St. Louis he had many loving and kind friends who doted on him. He became “Grandpa’ for his daughter’s friends’ and they were always buying him candy and treats and giving him hugs. He loved praying every day, watching soccer TV, playing dominos and going out with his daughter and friends and above all, hanging out with his grandson, Adam. They both made a team. The sunshine in his daughter’s life will never be as bright as when he was living. He will be in her heart and thoughts every day of her life and after.
He is survived by his daughter, Millie Bond (Gary) of St. Louis, MO; two grandsons, Adam Arellano of St. Louis; Orlando Arellano (Lei) of Placentia, CA; two great grandchildren, Zoe Isabel Arellano and Ander Arellano of Placentia, CA; two sisters, Nina Limas and Angelina Bonilla (Mario) of El Paso, TX; one brother, Jacinto Limas Jr., of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Isabel; his son, Ruben Moreno; three brothers and two sisters.
