ROSE MARIE CLOSE, 85, a longtime resident of Deming passed away Monday September 25, 2017 at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.
A graveside service will be Friday September 29, 2017 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Mt. View Cemetery. Reverend Darrell L. Witmer of First Christian Church will officiate.
Rose Marie was born January 6, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to Guy and Rose Malott. She came to Deming in 1965 from Missouri and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, David William Close of Deming, June Marie Cali and her husband Joseph of Galt, California; sister, Martha Turner and her husband Jerry of Independence, Missouri; 4 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Close Jr. on January 14, 1989.
