He was a 1st class Machinist at B&O Railroad as an apprentice. He was then at Maryland Ship Building & Dry-dock for 32 years. After that he was at Crown Cork & Seal for 5 years and retired in 1990. He then moved from Maryland to Deming in 2007 which was a 2,300 mile move. He never lived more than 30 miles from the home he was born in.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and The International Order of Old Bastards. He loved traveling, going to casinos and racing horses and also, own several horses with friends years ago. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Beverley Geis; one son, Ray; three daughters, Carol, Judy and Debbie; eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sister-in-laws, Dorothy and Mada. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; one brother, Donald; one sister, Sandy and his first wife, Connie.
Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels & Crematory
