
Family and friends are invited to Rio Mimbres Country Club this Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon to celebrate his life and share memories. Cremation has taken place at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.
Noel was born July 19, 1947 in Bisbee, Arizona to Gilbert and Martha (Porras) Jacquez. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Noel was the recipient of 2 Purple Hearts as well as numerous other decorations. After returning home he went to work with Southern Pacific Railroad which later became Union Pacific Railroad. He was Train Master at the time of his retirement and he then was able to spend more time doing what he dearly enjoyed, playing golf. Noel also enjoyed fishing and hunting but he could always be found at the golf course.
He is survived by his sons, Steven Jacquez (Pamela) of Albuquerque, Conrad Jacquez (Gloria) of Deming; brother, Gilbert Jacquez (Melissa) of Oklahoma; sisters, Irene Chavez and Olivia Chacon of Deming; and his grandchildren, Aileen Jacquez, Kaitlyn Jacquez, Casandra Jacquez, and Destiny Cigarroa. Noel was preceded in death by his wife Mary P. Jacquez in 2009, his parents, and brother, Conrad Jacquez.
