“Dora” whom she was known to all, grew up in Reserve and loved to go for walks and explore the countryside as a child. If you attended school in Cruzville or Reserve between the late 50’s and late 90’s, then you were most likely in her class. She was loved as a teacher, but she loved teaching kids more. She would often be found spending recess playing basketball with her students. Dora was an active member and Deaconess in her beloved Reserve Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was often found teaching the kids Sabbath School on Sabbath or cleaning and maintaining the church on Sundays.
Dora enjoyed traveling, though she would always insist on sitting in the back seat. She traveled best with a bag of NM red chile chips and a cold Pepsi.
Visitation will be Friday, June 4th at 11am at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Her service will commence at 11:30am with Pastor Sean Robertson officiating. Concluding service and interment will follow at Seventh-Day Adventist cemetery. Pallbearers are Gabriel Ramonett, Roberto Tena, James White, Vincent Peralta, Michael Najar, and Zachary Lawhead.
Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels.
