LOGAN: Margaret Ray Allred Logan, 67, of Silver City, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Fort Bayard Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will take place at Terrazas Funeral Chapel in Silver City, Saturday, September 3, 2022 –Visitation/viewing from 10:00-10:45 am, Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. At the conclusion of the services, burial will take place at Memory Lane Cemetery. Pallbearers are M. Logan Lane, Lorenzo Pino, Richard Bowen, Britt Bowen, Bradley Bowen, Steve Arnet.

Margaret, the youngest of 7 children, was born March 29, 1955, in Silver City, NM, to Plez and Belen Allred. Margaret grew up in Silver City, graduated from Silver High School, going on to marry her high school sweetheart, James B. Logan, on December 25, 1990. Margaret was a loving wife, as well as caring aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews. Her favorite past times included watching old movies with Jim, and working on word search puzzles. She was often working on crafting projects, crocheting, knitting and flower arrangements. Her life was blessed by the opportunity to work at the SWISH and DTS programs for many years where she was helped by many wonderful people. Visiting with family was a highlight in her life. Her family appreciates the loving care she received over the past 6 years from the hard-working caregivers at Ft. Bayard Medical Center.

Margaret is survived by her husband, James B. Logan, her mother-in-law Mabel Logan, sister in-laws Anna Perardel (Thierry), Helena Lara (Roy), Elsbeth Allred (Clyde), Maude Allred (Richard), Kathy Allred (Bill), brother-in-law Ronald Bowen (Barbara), and Aunt Delores Serna and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents John (Plez) and Belen Allred, sisters - Darlene Pino and Barbara Bowen, brothers - Bill, Clyde, and Richard Allred.

Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels.
