Margaret Ann Bushon, 71, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, January 28, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born January 31, 1949 in Watertown, SD to Bernard Carr and Pauline Wirtz Carr. She attended school in South Dakota and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from South Dakota State University. She met and married the love of her life Arnold Bushon in 1976. She worked and retired from Quest in Omaha, NE. Upon retirement, Margaret and Arnold became full time RVers. Even after Arnie’s death, Margaret continued RVing across the US and traveled with her sister to 16 countries. She will be remembered for her kindness, wit, spunkiness, and humor. She enjoyed knitting and quilting. She volunteered for many organizations.
She is survived by her sister Cathy McMillan and children; her five stepsons.
No service will be held per her wishes. In lieu of flowers and donations can be made to Escapees CARE, Inc. 155 Care Center Dr. Livingston, TX 77351. Also, to Imagination Library of Grant County 1915 N. Swan St. Silver City, NM. 88061.
Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory.
