
Lydia lived in Fredericksburg and Big Spring, TX where she managed Denny’s for many years. Upon retirement, Lydia and Don traveled around looking for casinos and the best fishing spots. Lydia loved to read and would wait for every magazine to buy. Wherever she has lived she left very dear friends that she always cherished. She returned to Silver City a couple of years ago and really enjoyed spending a lot of time and spoiling many of her grandkids.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald R. Reese; her children, Alfred Sandoval of CA; Danny Sandoval (Helen); daughter, Mary Marshall (James)of Silver City; she had many grandchildren, including Annette Castillo (Angel) of Rio Rancho; Robert Bencomo of Santa Clara; Kacy Aguirre of Silver City; Dallas Bencomo (Nick) of El Paso, TX; Jodie Cereceres (Oscar) of Ontario, CA; Shantelle Harrison (Jack) of Silver City; Kylle Marshall (Marissa) of Silver City; Kendall Marshall (Tanya) of Las Cruces; Nino Sandoval (Angel) of Santa Clara; and Dolpho Sandoval; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, Santiago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mateo and Isabelita Miranda; daughters, Annette, Julia and Lydia Sandoval; her brothers and sisters, Joe Miranda (Norma) of Santa Clara; Elsie Beltran of Santa Clara; Ramona Miranda of Albuquerque; Molly Ramirez of Bayard; Abie Miranda of Arenas Valley; Jerry Miranda of Santa Clara; and Richard Miranda Montecito.
Lydia will be laid to rest in Big Springs, TX on Monday, January 11th at 1:30pm.
There will be a Celebration of her life here in Silver City at a later date.
