Lucy G. Ogas, 95, a resident of Sunset Vista Assisted Living, entered eternal rest Monday, October 12, 2020 at Gila Regional Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1925 in Tyrone, NM. Her parents were Elisa Acuna Carmignani and stepfather Albert Carmignani Sr. Lucy married Frank B. Ogas on February 7, 1945. Lucy worked very hard her entire life. She cared for her family deeply. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved to talk.
She is survived by one daughter, Eva Dinsmore and companion Tom Nolan of Seal Beach, CA; three sons, Billy Ogas and wife Karen of Silver City; Frank Ogas Jr. and wife Mona of Morenci, AZ; Stephen Ogas and wife Teresa of Las Cruces, NM; ten grandchildren, John, William, Krisann, Stephen Mark, Christopher, Alyssia, Frank III, Daniel, David, and Mary Natalie; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; three brothers, George, Albert, and Charles Carmignani of Albuquerque; three sisters, Dolores Vasquez of El Paso, TX; Camille Burgess and Mona Plummer of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by her wonderful caregivers of Sunset Vista. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; one sister, Betty Holguin; son in-law, Chuck Dinsmore.
Prayer Vigil and Memorial service will be celebrated on Monday, October 19th at 10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Deacon Richard Rodriguez officiating.
Concluding service and inurnment will follow with both Lucy and Frank to be laid to rest at Memory Lane cemetery.
Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
