Widowed at the age of 34 and left to raise 10 children ranging in age from 7 months to 16 years Lucia dedicated her life to raising a very successful family. She always said that she could not have done it without the help of Sister Rosalie, her children's school teachers and the community.
She was a woman of deep faith, a devout member of St Ann's parish where she served as a member of the League of the Sacred Heart, was a Cursillista and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She became a great role model for her family who already miss her immensely.
Due to Covid restrictions a private service will be held.
