John was born on September 8, 2023 to Ray Sigman and Betty Ruth (Moseley) Sigman in Santa Rita, NM.
John was a mechanic until the mid 80’s. He then purchased a pizza restaurant named “Pepperoni’s Pizza” in Mansfield, TX. John owed and operated the restaurant until 1994 when he decided to sell the restaurant and move back home to Deming, NM. He then became a volunteer sheriff deputy and rose to the rank of lieutenant in the reserves and was in charge of the Reserve Transport Division. John was an avid Hunter and mostly hunted with muzzle loaders. Even while living in TX, John would come home to Deming every year and go hunting with his family. John also loved riding his motorcycles almost as much as hunting but, most importantly John loved spending time with his grandchildren and attended as many school functions as he could. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
