Joe Loera Trujillo, 87, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his residence. Joe was born on January 4, 1934 in Hanover, NM to Francisco Trujillo and Micaela Loera.
He is survived by his former wife, Genoveva Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM; three sons, Roger Trujillo and his wife Donna of Albuquerque, NM; Albert Trujillo of Phoenix, AZ and Ely B. Trujillo and his wife Kaoru of League City, TX; one brother, Abel Trujillo of Belen NM; two sisters, Irene Polanco of Tucson, AZ and Ruth Smith of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one daughter in law, Elena Zamora. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; one son, Joseph Trujillo; four brothers, Manuel, Ernesto, Ismael and Francisco Trujillo.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 10:30-11am at St. Ann Catholic Church with the holy rosary beginning at 11am with Lucy Villegas officiating. Funeral mass will then begin with Father, Prakasham Babu officiating. Concluding services with an in interment will be at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors.
Serving as pallbearers are Roger Trujillo, Albert Trujillo, James Vega, Ray Bencomo, Jacob Tafoya and Paul Tafoya.
Due to Covid restrictions only 25% church capacity is allowed and you must wear your mask at all times.
At the cemetery only ten vehicles are allowed and you must remain in your vehicles. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels.
