On Sunday, November 29, 2020, James “Bucky” Evertson went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was 73 years old and a resident of Silver City, NM since 1987. Bucky was born in Knoxville, TX and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Texas A&M University. This helped prepare him for his second degree as a Dentist from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He attended Mountain View Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Candyce Evertson; his son, Eric Evertson; his daughter in-law, Nicole Evertson and two grandsons, Levi and Caleb. He was preceded in death by his son, Zachary Evertson.
A private family memorial will be held in the future.
Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory.
Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory.
