Henry was born and raised in Deming, New Mexico, one of five children born to Filigonio and Ramona Calderon. He was a graduate of New Mexico State University where he earned his degree in mechanical engineering. Henry was a dedicated employee at Pratt and Whitney for 35 years. He also served his country in the Army Reserves. During his lifetime Henry set foot on every continent. He and his wife, Maria, were avid world travelers visiting such places as Europe, Australia, China, India, Egypt, Peru, Nepal, Antarctica, Israel, Cuba, Norway, Argentina, Kenya, as well as all around the US. Henry was an artist at heart and spent many hours sketching and painting. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Henry is survived by his loving wife Maria, daughters Linda and Michelle, granddaughters Lauren and Ansley and his sister Benita.
A funeral service will be held at Terrazas Funeral Chapel in Deming at 11:00 am on Tuesday January 24th.
Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Everglades Golden Retriever Rescue.
