Frank M. Jimenez

FRANK M. JIMENEZ passed away on Thursday May 13th, 2021 at the age of 69.

Visitation will be Thursday May 20, 2021 at 9 o’clock in the morning at St. Ann’s Catholic Church where a rosary will begin at 10 o’clock to be led by Christine Milo. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 o’clock with Fr. Jesus Martinez officiating. Concluding services with honors will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.


Frank was born on May 16, 1951 to Pablo O. and Josephine M. Jimenez. He graduated from Deming High School in 1970 and joined the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant after four years. He married Ernestina Garcia on July 1, 1972 and they made their home in Lordsburg where he worked and retired from Union Pacific Railroad. Together they raise four children, Frank, Anthony, Julie and Lisa Jimenez. Frank has 10 grandchildren, Angel Jimenez, Paul Gabriel Lopez, Jaycee and Zeke Jacquez, Kylie, Christian and Aja De La O, Kayla and Anthony Jimenez and Gigi Ramirez. He also had numerous nephews and nieces who he loved very much. Frank was an avid sports fan, especially high school sports and college basketball. He liked spending time with his family.

Frank is survived by his children, sons Frank Jimenez of Lordsburg and Anthony Jimenez of Silver City, daughters Julie Jimenez of Lordsburg and Lisa Jimenez of Sunnyside, Washington; sister Delfina Jimenez of Tucson, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ernestina, his parents, sister Sylvia A. brother Paul Jimenez and a niece, Amanda Armendariz.

Pallbearers will be Angel Jimenez, Paul Gabriel Lopez, Christian De La O, Zeke Jacquez, Adrian Armendariz and Jason Garcia. Honorary bearers are David Dudley, Sam Arrendondo, Bobby Mendoza, Andy Garcia, Jesus Sanchez, Tim Arrendondo, Luis Sanchez and Anthony Ramirez.

Entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels and Mimbres Crematory.
