
He was born January 2, 1945 in Vanadium, NM to Apolonio Teran and Natalia Alvo Teran. Mr. Teran proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his loving wife Ramona M. Teran of the family home; two sons, Manuel Teran and wife Monica of Bayard; Christopher “Chris” Teran and companion Paula of Bayard; two daughters, Elizabeth Teran of Bayard; Michelle Teran of Mimbres; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Manuel Teran of Las Cruces; Apolonio Teran Jr. and wife Ruth of Bayard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Reynaldo and Lorenzo Teran; one sister, Magdalena Aguilera.
Memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Bayard, NM with Father Martin officiating.
Concluding service and inurnment will follow at Fort Bayard National cemetery with full military honors.
