Donna Sue Gomez 49, Beloved daughter, mother, sister, auntie and friend, was called to be with our Heavenly Father November 8, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 20, 1971 to Jackie and Dolores Gomez. Donna enjoyed family functions, sippin’ wine while listening to oldies and Bob Marely but most of all she loved taking care of her nieces and nephews like they were her own children.
She is survived by her parents Jackie and Dolores, her daughters Jaimee Gomez and Rhea Valles and a very special niece whom she loved and lived for Gina “Mimby love” Gomez, siblings Crystal, Jackie Jr. Jock Iassac and Dolorita “Tita” Gomez also nieces Tonia Gomez, Lilli Gomez of Germany, Samantha Garcia. Amanda Grace Gomez of California, nephews Steven Gomez, Francisco “Pancho” Aguilera, Justin Bollinger, Calvin Ewet and Yarek Gomez of Germany and her great nephews, great niece who held a special place in her heart Daniel “Lil Dan”, Diego “Chubbz” and Taylor Jacquez. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11th from 10-11am at St. Francis Newman Center with the holy rosary being recited by Deacon Art Gutierrez to begin at 11am.
The funeral mass will commence at 11:30am with Father Bartholomew Ezenwelem officiating. Concluding service cremation will follow. Pallbearers will be Bodie Valles, Jock Gomez, Steven Gomez, Daniel Jacquez, Diego Jacquez and Francisco Aguilera.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Gomez Jr. and Larry Martinez.
Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
