
She graduated from Clovis High, Clovis, NM after the family moved from OK; but it didn’t matter where she lived, she always considered Oklahoma her “home”. Now, she is truly going home. Donna was a bookkeeper working at various businesses in Grant County.
Her last employment was at Cup of Grace which she loved. She was a longtime active member of the Cross Point Church in Silver City. She loved the church and looked forward to attending all activities. She sang in the choir and enjoyed playing the piano and organ.
Donna is survived by her brother, Ron Brown (Lori) of Winston, NM; sisters, Anita Gensen of Tucson, AZ; and Eva Neudecker (Earl) of Caballo, NM; her son, Randy Gensen of Silver City; her daughter and three grandsons, Teresa Marie Summers of Silver City; Jeff Gensen (Jackie); Scott Summers (Aimee); and Kevin Summers (Heather); adored great granddaughter, Kaylee Summers and two others. Her childhood friend Clarita Acosta of Woodward, OK; and her best friend and sister in Christ, Myrtle Trappman of Silver City and loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, James Gensen. Visitation will be Monday, May 18 from 1-2pm at Crosspoint Church with the funeral service being officiated by Pastor David to begin at 2pm.
She will be laid to rest Harmon Cemetery in Harmon, OK.
