He was born April 15, 1957 in Newport Beach, CA to Donald Jensen Sr. and Mary Jane Reagan.

Don Jensen was born the fifth of six children and grew up in Arizona working in the family motel business. After graduating from Ajo High School he spent two years working at his dad’s welding shop in Hawaii. Don returned to Ajo and worked as a ball mill operator for Phelps Dodge for six years. Don fell in love with Maggie, and they married in 1983. In 1984 Don moved to Tucson and started college. Don worked in mills in Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico and he was pleased to retire after thirty-two years. He was pure to the process and always a hard rock miner! Don will always be remembered for his sense of humor especially when he was teaching someone something new. He loved his motorcycles, loud music and telling stories.
