Barbara I. Sulik Laskoski, age 84, longtime Deming resident passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, August 14th, 2018 with her heart full of love for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert J. Laskoski. She is survived by her five children, Mary Lawlor Jaime (Rudy) of Deming, Joseph J. Lawlor (Dana) of Altoona, PA, Eileen Lawlor Boatman (Tony) of Lakeland, FL, Michael Lawlor Mead (Michele) of Farmington, NM and Laura A. Lawlor Wyatt of Lakeland, FL as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews and her faithful canine companion “Pretty Girl”.
Barbara loved her desert southwest and chose Deming as her home 50 years ago. She loved painting, gardening and to travel. Her deep faith in the Lord shined through her bright blue eyes for all to see.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory and a memorial mass will be on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church.
