Visitation will be Friday morning, March 12, 2021 at 9 o’clock at Holy Family Catholic Church where a rosary will begin at 10 o’clock to be led by Irma Jaurequi. Mass of Christian Burial will follow with Fr. Parkasham Babu, Pastor officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
Masks and social distancing are required.
Amado was born September 13, 1944 in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico to Martin and Vicenta (Verdier) Camacho. He has lived in Deming since 1966 and married Rosa Burboa in January 1973. Amado was a Sheet Metal Mechanic by trade and his job took him all over the United States but Deming always remained home. Amado always loved spending time with his family and after his retirement he officially became what his family calls “The Best Babysitter Ever”. He was the center of his family and especially enjoyed every opportunity he had to spend time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and an avid Los Angeles Dodger fan.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosa A. Camacho of Deming; sons, Amado B. Camacho Jr. (Gladys) and Martin Camacho all of Deming; daughter Gabriela “Gaby” Holman (Matthew) of Chandler, AZ; sisters, Cruz Perales and Consuelo Rincon of Deming, Isabel Sanchez of Tucson, AZ; 4 grandchildren who he adored, Abram Camacho, Andrea Camacho, Leah Camacho and Zeyli Camacho. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Vicenta and by 2 brothers, Pedro and Tomas.
Pallbearers will be Amado Camacho Jr., Martin Camacho, Pedro Camacho, Martin Perales, Matthew Holman and Abram Camacho.
