Dolores C. Ramos

Dolores C. Ramos, 82, longtime Deming resident passed away Thursday April 5, 2018 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.
 
Visitation will be Monday afternoon, April 9, 2018, beginning at 4 o'clock at Baca’s Funeral Chapel where a prayer vigil begins at 6 o’clock led by Irma Jaurequi.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery with Father Manuel F. Ibarra, Pastor, officiating.
 
Dolores was born March 5, 1936 to Narcisa Compian and Francisco Cardenas in San Pedro del Gallo, Durango, Mexico.  She moved to Deming in 1959 coming from Mexico and was a communicant of Saint Ann’s Catholic Church. Dolores loved to garden, especially her flowers, she also enjoyed to knit and sew.  She will be remembered for the blankets she made for her children and grandchildren. 
 
Survived by her husband, Felipe J. Ramos of the home; 2 sons, Felipe Ramos and wife Sandra P. of Morenci, AZ, Javier Ramos and wife Diane C. of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Maria “Lolita” Tapia and husband Albert of Gilbert, AZ; 2 brothers, Francisco and Jose Luis Cardenas of MX; 9 grandchildren, Roman and Diego Ramos, Sara Martinez and husband Estevan; Isaiah, Abran, Antonio and Marina Ramos, Valeria and Brianna Tapia; 1 great-grandchild, Aslynn Katalina Martinez. 
 
Preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Narcisa Cardenas, sister, Brigida Cardenas and brother, Luis Cardenas. 
 
Serving as pallbearers are Roman Ramos, Diego Ramos, Estevan Martinez, Isaiah Ramos, Abran Ramos and Antonio Ramos.

Ramiro Quintana Morales

Ramiro Quintana Morales, 79, longtime Deming resident passed away Saturday March 31, 2018 surrounded by family at his home.  

Visitation will begin Thursday April 5, 2018 at 9 o'clock in the morning at Saint Ann's Catholic Church with a rosary to follow at 10:30 led by Guillermina Macias.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock, Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.  Father Manuel Ibarra, Pastor, will officiate.  

Ramiro was born June 1, 1938 to Isabel Quintana and Santos Morales in Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico.  He worked as a cement finisher for the construction industry and was a communicant of Saint Ann’s Catholic Church.  Ramiro loved to spend time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed listening to music and taking drives with his son-in-law, Manuel Perez.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Morales of the home; son, Raul Morales; daughter, Dahlia Perez and husband Manuel; step-daughter, Margaret Baca all of Deming; 3 brothers, Ramon Morales and wife Martha, Humberto Morales and wife Maria de Jesus and Horacio Morales; 5 sisters, Alma Campos, Martha Barradas and husband Raymundo, Armida Giron and husband Mel, Morayma Arellano and husband David and Leticia Gonzalez and husband Johnny; 5 grandchildren, Manuel Perez Jr. and wife Kimberly, Javier Perez, Isabel Morales, Harmony Morales and Ariana Gonzalez; 5 great-grandchildren, Zailene Uzueta, Manny Perez III, Ailanny Perez, Bradley and Richard Paul.  
Preceded in death by parents, Santos and Isabel Morales; brother-in-law, Adolfo Campos.   
Serving as pallbearers are Manuel Perez, Manuel Perez Jr., Javier Perez, Miguel Carpio, Juan Sanchez and Mel Giron.

Memorial services set for Robert “Bob” Ray Pryor and Bettie Jo Vick Pryor.
 
The service will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Deming Saturday April 7, 2018 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The family would like for you to join them for coffee and cookies at the Hampton Inn following the service.
 
The Pryor’s had been longtime Deming residents who passed away in Texas recently.

Irene A. Molina, 88, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Friday, March 30, 2018 at her residence. Irene was born in Janos, Chihuahua, Mexico to Eusquipula Apodaca and Inocenta Rivera on October 20, 1929.

She is survived by two sons, Robert A Molina of Deming, NM and David Molina and his wife Gloria of El Paso, TX; six daughters, Lilia Molina Johnson of Deming, NM; Olga Molina of Deming, NM; Isela Molina of Semi Valley, CA; Martha Molina of Deming, NM; Etelvina Molina of Colton, CA and Erika Molina and her wife Leticia of Horizon, TX; one sister, Lucia Apodaca of Juarez, Mex. eighteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roberto Molina; one daughter,  Maria De Los Angeles Molina; four brothers, Antonio, Bonifacio, Julian and Jose Apodaca; two sisters, Baselisa and Micaela Apodoca.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary beginning at 6pm with Maria S. Lozano officiating. Funeral mass will be on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father, Ron Machado officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.

​Serving as pallbearers are Javier Jimenez, Emmanuel Molina, Roberto Ruelas, Jaime Perez, Roberto Molina and Roberto Molina Jr. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels
