Beverly A. "B.G" Green, 75, Deming resident passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.
As per Beverly's request no services will be held. Cremation was entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory. Beverly was born October 24, 1942 in Akron, Ohio to Catherine Baily and Frank Howald. She was a volunteer at the Senior Center, she loved animals and donated animal care at Sunshine Groomers. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Catherine) Thorpe of Mokena, IL; daughter, Julie Ann (Myrna) Simpson of Simi Valley, CA; brother David (Brenda) Howald of Tolito, OH ; four sisters, Franilie, Sharron (Larry) Stanton, Mary and Toots. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Catherine Howald and brother Frank Howald. Entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels. ![]() Terry Lee Cosgrove, 66, of Deming, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the evening at home. The graveside memorial service will be Friday February 2, 2018 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery with Floyd Robertson officiating. Veterans honors will be accorded. Terry was born on October 16, 1951 in Freeport, Illinois to Francis Leo Cosgrove and Ruth Olive Pickard. Terry moved to Deming with his family in 1967. Terry enlisted in the army June 18, 1974 in which he became an expert marksman. He was honorably discharged January 11, 1977 as SP4 following his service in Vietnam. Terry owned and operated the Middle of Nowhere Bar in Nutt, New Mexico for many years. Terry’s son, Travis, was the most important part of his life. He loved and cherished every moment he had with him. Terry enjoyed interacting with the many customers who visited the bar over the years, many of whom were his friends. He also enjoyed watching sports and NASCAR races. Terry is also remembered as having a great sense of humor, there were times when his humor made some uneasy or during difficult times, a little more bearable. Survivors include his son, Travis Harvey Cosgrove of Texas, sister, Lynda Walkup of Fayette, Iowa, brother Thomas Cosgrove and wife Rose of Deming, brother Chance Cosgrove of Las Cruces, and sister, Kim Perea and husband Ken of Deming and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Terry was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Ruth Cosgrove and his wife, Sally. She was residing at the New Mexico State Veterans Home in Truth or Consequences. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 1/2 years John H. Wares. She was born February 25, 1920 to Holly and Rosa (Beutler) Landfried in North Olmstead, Ohio. She had two sisters Ruth Davidson (deceased 2006) and Mildred Curtis (deceased 2002). She leaves behind, son William H. and Pilar, 2 grandchildren Danielle Wares Lamp husband Alan, great granddaughter Loie Lark Lamp and granddaughter Christa Wares great grandchildren James, Benjamin, Skye Danielle Dudek and Graham Linden and son John A. and Jeanie Wares. Aunt Hazel remembers with special love her nieces and nephews that added joy to her life. Niece; Martha Rose Davidson Shulman and Nephews; Thomas Wares, Robert and Gerald Curtis. Hazel spent her early years in Litchfield, Ohio surrounded by a loving family. After graduating Litchfield High School she went to Business School in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked at Bobbie Brooks as a bookkeeper until 1973, was a President of PTA in Cleveland, Active in Cub Scouts as leader , President of the De Molay Mother's Club, Deaconess at West Park Congregational Church in Cleveland, President of Women's Fellowship Circle of Presbyterian Church in Deming, Session Member at Presbyterian Church in Deming and Past Worthy Matron of Order of Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter #6 of Deming. Services will be at First Presbyterian Church February 23, 2018 at 10 o'clock' in the morning and graveside services follow immediately with a service given by Order of the Eastern Star Ruth #6 of Deming and Pastor Adam Soliz of First Presbyterian Church of Deming. Hazel has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be given to First Presbyterian Church, 120 Zinc Street, Deming, NM 88030. Entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels. Flavia Feaselman, 75, passed away at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces on Monday January 29, 2018.
She was born in Deming, on November 8, 1942 to Micaela Palos and Jesus Holguin. She attended Deming Public Schools and graduated from Deming High School. She was employed by Ray’s United for many years and then by Mountain Bell Telephone Company until she retired. She then went on to work for Tamara Hurt CPA until 2013. Flavia was an avid Wildcat fan and attended almost every game. She was a member of Saint. Ann’s Catholic Church and loved to travel. Flavia is survived by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Monica (Mona) and son-in-law, Charles Garcia; granddaughters, Veronica Lozano (Gasper), Marisela Holguin (Ricardo); great-grandchildren, Xavier and Gabriel Lozano, Marina and Viana Hidalgo; sisters, Mary Helen White (Don), Juanita Madrid (Henry), Elvira Perez and brother, Gus Holguin. She also has numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Micaela and Jesus Holguin; brother, Larry Palos; brother-in-law, George Perez. As per Flavia’s request no services will be held. Cremation was entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory and a memorial service will be scheduled at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church at a later date.
