DEMING - The public is invited to attend an educational program from the Luna County Manager’s Office called the Luna County Citizen’s College.
On the 4th week of each month, Luna County will host a forum where Luna County staff will give a brief presentation on an aspect or office run by Luna County.
The presentation will include an explanation of applicable statutes, rules, regulations and ordinances as well as a description of the day-to-to operations of that office.
Citizens will also be afforded an open forum to ask questions regarding the topic and to make general comments about county operations.
The next session will be held in the Luna County Commission Chambers on Thursday March 28th, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The topic will be the understanding the Luna County Parents as Teachers program.
