We have a couple of great dog adoption stories to share.
Red Bone came to us in the middle of 2022. Initially, Red was so rambunctious and out of control that he pulled one of our volunteer dog walkers to the ground 6 times before she found the right leash to use. Thanks to Molly, one of our part time employees & exceptional volunteers, the miracle happened. The perfect home was found. Now he's helping to herd horses with his dog pals and is in heaven running around the ranch.

We always worry about our old dogs finding homes. Sherman, a big old tank of a German Shepherd, was one such dog. His original owners were too old to care for him so he came to DAGSHIP and was eventually adopted by a lady from Silver City. From the photos below you can see how "at home" he is and his very grey muzzle.
