
DEMING – Luna County Commission will be meeting in Special Session Friday August 18th.
According to the official agenda, the purpose of this meeting is to go into closed or executive session.
The board will discuss limited personnel matters and matters pertaining to pending litigation.
After the executive session, the Commission will meet again in in open session and accept motions and hold a roll call vote.
The meeting will be held on the third floor Commission Chambers at the Historic Luna County Courthouse 700 South Silver Street in Deming.
The County will also be holding its next Citizen’s College on Wednesday August 23rd at 5:30 p.m. This month’s discussion will be the workings of the County Clerks office and Probate Judge.
The County offices will be closed on Monday September 4th in observance of Labor Day.
