Abdilk Adir Said, age 27, was arrested on a felony warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamines… Jessie Hawkins, age 21, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance – fentanyl and methamphetamines and unlawful possession of a switch blade also on two Municipal warrants one for failure to pay fines and the other for failure to appear… Jerry Encinias, age 51, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and false imprisonment… he was also arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation… Steven Michael Almanza, age 40, was arrested on a District court warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation and also cited into court for possession of drug paraphernalia… Jeremy Jaramillo, age 25, was arrested for battery against a household member, assault on a household member and causing criminal damage to property of a household member… David Remondini, age 36, was arrested by the Adult Probation and Parole Department for parole violations… Emilio Valenzuela, age 38, was arrested on a 6th Judicial District Court warrant for probation violations… Andrew Berry, age 51, was arrested on a Magistrate Court warrant for failure to appear… Benny Lerma, age 18, was arrested on a Magistrate Court warrant for failure to appear.
In juvenile arrest news:
A 11-year-old boy was cited into juvenile district court for possession of marijuana in a drug free school zone.
In police reports:
A report of a credit card being used fraudulently at various locations around Deming. The charges added to around $220. $720 worth of lawn equipment was taken from the 1000 block of East Pine Street. Finally, a 2005 Ford pick up was taken from a residence in the 800 block of Santa Barbara Street, value listed was $2,500.
All persons mentioned are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
