DEMING - In a joint effort to provide support and assistance to those navigating the challenges of grief, Ambercare Hospice and the Deming Luna County Senior Center have announced the establishment of a monthly Bereavement Group. The group sessions will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:00 AM at the Senior Center, located at 800 S. Granite St.
The Bereavement Group, a collaborative initiative between the two organizations, aims to create a safe and empathetic space for individuals in the community who are coping with the loss of a loved one. This supportive gathering is open to all community members and comes at no cost.
To find out more about the Bereavement Group or to participate, interested individuals can contact the Deming Luna County Senior Center at 575-546-8823. Additionally, those seeking more information can reach out to David Bonnell, Ambercare's spiritual care advisor, at 575-694-0238.
Grief is a universal experience, and the Bereavement Group seeks to offer solace and companionship during a difficult time. The organizers encourage community members to take advantage of this valuable resource and reach out for support.
