Raymond “Dwight” Mitchell, 66, a resident of Deming, NM went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22nd 2017 at UMC El Paso. Raymond was born on February 20th 1951 in Silver City, New Mexico to Raymond Claude Mitchell and Betty Howell.
At the time he was survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Lou Mitchell; one son, Raymond A. Mitchell and his wife Monica Rosson-Mitchell of Salem OR; two daughters, Merrie Kae Mitchell of Mesa, AZ and Melodie Reid and her husband Kevin of Portland, OR; three sisters, Jamie Mitchell of Santa Clara, NM; Geri Vaughn and her husband Mike of Mimbres, NM and Shelly Kimmick and her husband Brad of Silver City, NM; two grandchildren, Marissa and Eric Donaldson.
Dwight is preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Ken Kingston. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 27th from 10am-11am and service to follow at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop, Jason Nichols officiating.
Concluding services will be burial at Mountain View Cemetery.
