Director Ken Leupold said staff and student orientation leaders from the main campus in Silver City will be conducting the orientation.
Student and parent check-in, along with a continental breakfast, will be from 8-8:45 a.m. on Friday, August 2nd, in the lobby at 2300 East Pine Street.
The program will begin with a welcome and short introduction by Vice President for Student Affairs Isaac Brundage.
Areas to be addressed during the orientation include advising, business affairs, financial aid, WNMU Id’s, Mustang Express and Canvas, academic departments and student services.
Lunch will be served, and the orientation is scheduled to conclude at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Incoming freshman may register at www.wnmu.edu. Choose “Admissions” on the home page, then select “New Student Orientation” and finally “Deming Orientation.”
