The show, which will feature late model show cars, motorcycles and choppers, will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Attendees can enjoy music, food and the park’s exhibit hall as well.
Park Manager John Read said the show offers an opportunity to see some of the finest show cars and motorcycles in the southwest while enjoying the unique history and heritage at Pancho Villa State Park.
Trophies will be awarded in 15 categories including hot rod cars, hot rod trucks, antique cars, original cars, custom cars, best 4x4, under construction, best motorcycle and best chopper. A $100 cash prize and trophy will be awarded to the “Best of Show” vehicle.
Those interested in registering a show vehicle should call the park at 575-531-2711. The pre-registration fee of $20 per show vehicle includes lunch, a dash plaque and a chance at door prizes.
You may also register Saturday from 8-9:30 a.m. for $25.
Pancho Villa State Park is located in Columbus at the intersection of Highway 11 and Highway 9.
