The clinics will be hosted by the New Mexico Department of Health’s Office of Border Health and will be open to the public.
The first clinic will be this Saturday from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Columbus Community Center… followed by a clinic Monday from 9-2 at Pepper’s Supermarket… and one Tuesday from 9-2 at the Deming Senior Center.
State Health Department officials say everyone six months of age and older should get a flu vaccine each flu season, especially people who are at high risk of having serious flu-related complications.
There is no charge to those attending the clinic, but everyone should bring their insurance card, including Medicaid or Medicare, with them.
Again, the flu shot clinics are open to the public and free of charge. They will be held this Saturday at the Columbus Community Center… Monday at Pepper’s Supermarket… and Tuesday at the Deming Senior Center. Clinic hours are from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at each location.
