New Mexico Department of Public Safety spokesman Tony Lynn confirmed that 17–year-old Marriah Parrah of Deming, one of three girls under a court order to stay at the Albuquerque Reintegration Center but who walked away November 2nd, is still being sought.
Another of the walkaways – 18-year-old Angel Rodriguez – was picked up by New Mexico State Police Thursday.
State Police received a tip that Rodriguez was receiving a money transfer at a westside Wal-Mart in Albuquerque, and store officials notified law enforcement when she arrived to pick up the money.
Parrah is described as 5’2” tall, 121 pounds, with brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and white Jordan tennis shoes.
Authorities are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Parrah or the other walkaway, 19-year-old Claudia Morales, to call law enforcement authorities.
Lynn said the Albuquerque Reintegration Center specializes in dealing with aggressive teens.
