DHS Principal Janean Garney said they are offering a summer program in collaboration with Western New Mexico University through which students can take drawing, computer programing, photo editing, introduction to social work or a student success seminar for dual credit.
In addition to the dual-credit offerings, GEAR Up is offering a performing arts enrichment camp that includes performance, audio engineering, recording and songwriting courses.
Students currently in grades 9-11 who are interested in either the dual-credit courses or the performing arts enrichment camp should register with Bryan Simpson in the DHS Alternative School as soon as possible.
