Raul Perea received the French Herdsman Award for outstanding senior showman who helps everywhere throughout the fair.
The Mary Milo Award for outstanding all-around junior who didn't make the sale went to Calleigh Sweetser.
The Alderman Cave “Top Hand” Award for outstanding all-around showmanship and citizenship went to twin brothers Taylor and Tyler Nunn.
The Dee Tolman Memorial for Outstanding Swine Showman went to Tee Pickett.
The Border Belles Award for a first-year steer showman went to Kaitlyn Reed.
New this year was the Trace Hudson Memorial Award for Outstanding Swine Showman, and it was awarded to Michael Diaz.
And “All-Around Hand” awards went to Senior Stacy Swope, Junior Riley Patterson, Novice Brent Hays and Cloverbud Ruben Bookout.
The Senior Steer Showman was Michael Diaz and the Junior Steer Showman was Tanner Caldwell.
The Senior Swine Showman was Dalton Trantham and the Junior Swine Showman was Grady Jackson.
The Senior Sheep Showman was Raul Perea and the Junior Sheep Showman was Tyler Jackson.
The Senior Goat Showman was Shelbie Peterson and the Junior Goat Showman was Kenzi McWright.
And the Senior Rabbit Showman was Shaelynn Plasters and the Junior Rabbit Showman was Megan Phillips.
And the Fair Board recognized County Extension Agent Jack Blandford with the new “Hero Award” for being a behind-the-scenes help to so many Luna County youth.
