Seats up for election this cycle were districts one and two.
In district one, Ronald D. Wolf ran unopposed. Wolf received 25 votes and has been elected to a 4 year term.
In district 2, candidates were Stephen Kent Witmer, Kenneth D. Perea and William J. Ruiz. The winner was William J. Ruiz with 72 votes. Challengers Kenneth D. Perea received 65 votes, and Stephen Kent Witner received 31 votes.
William J. Ruiz will serve on the Deming Public School Board for the next 4 years.
Voter turnout was extremely light with 5,576 registered voters, only 193 persons went to the polls for a voter turnout of 3.46%.
