Cheryl Hain, new WNMU Director of Financial Aid, has announced that all students attending any college are required to fill out the FAFSA before qualifying for financial aid.
DHS students, WNMU students and any interested community members need to bring their 2015 tax returns and parent’s returns if needed. If no 2015 tax return was filed, please bring your W2’s for 2015.
WNMU Deming Senior Program manager of Advising, Elizabeth Davila, stressed how important it is for students to do the FAFSA early. Davila said, The biggest issue in getting started in school at WNMU Deming is not having financial aid in place by the start of the semester.
By having the process completed, students will know ahead of time how much money they will be responsible for and how much financial aid will pay.
The second part of the night will be providing scholarship information about WNMU scholarships and WNMU Foundation scholarships available to students planning to attend WNMU in the fall.
