
Luna County Clerk Andrea Rodriguez said interested eligible residents may register in her office on the first floor of the Luna County Courthouse, 700 S. Silver Ave., by mail at P.O. Box 1838, Deming, 88031, or online at www.nmvote.org.
The deadline to register by mail or online is 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8th. In-person registration at the county clerk’s office will end Saturday, Nov. 2nd.
Rodriguez said all qualified electors duly registered on or before Nov. 2nd, 2019, will be eligible to cast a ballot in the Nov. 5th election.
Tuesday, Oct. 8th, also will be the first day a voter may cast a paper absentee ballot or vote on an electronic voting system in the clerk’s office.
The last day for early voting in the clerk’s office will be Saturday, Nov. 2nd.
Voters also may request an application and absentee ballot be mailed to them. The last day the clerk may mail an absentee ballot to an applicant is Friday, Nov. 1st.
