
This year's theme is: "Shake, Rattle and Roll This Kind of Country."
Livestock and poultry entries will be accepted Wednesday morning, and livestock must be in place by 10 a.m.
Entries for art, baking, canning, crafts, crops, gem and minerals, photography, 4-H, and home economics departments will be accepted from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday.
Events begin Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the poultry show, followed by the pig show at 6 p.m.
Then activities continue Thursday at 8 a.m. with the lamb show, followed by the goat show at 10 a.m.
Flower show entries will be received Thursday from 8-10 a.m.
Judging for art, 4-H and home economics entries will take place Thursday morning as well.
The steer show is Thursday at 1 p.m., followed by the rabbit show at 2 p.m.
And Thursday’s events wrap up with the 2019 Fair Royalty competition and cake auction beginning at 7 p.m.
Also, Frazier Carnival – one of the biggest carnivals to come to Deming in recent years – opens to the public Wednesday at 4 p.m., and will be open through Sunday afternoon.
Friday night beginning at 7 p.m. the Horizon Band will open for headliner Frank Ray in the rodeo arena.
Saturday at 10 a.m. is the fair parade in downtown Deming.
Also Saturday there will be a team roping at the arena with entries starting at 9 a.m. and the roping competition beginning at 10 a.m.
Superior Boxing’s “Fairground Throwdown 3” will run from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, and the Junior Livestock Awards and Sale will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday’s activities will kick off with a Cowboy Church service at 7:30 a.m., then a junior rodeo and barnyard scramble will begin at 9 a.m. in the arena, followed by a team roping.
Entries are released Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.
