(Deming) – A lamb raised by Annie Kuenstler was selected as the top sheep in this year's Southwestern New Mexico State Fair.
Kuenstler's lamb was judged first in the heavy-weight class before winning the Grand Champion Honors.
The Reserve Grand Champion sheep was the second-place heavy-weight raised by Tanner Caldwell.
Dezi Stockton raised the first-place light-weight lamb… and the first-place medium-light lamb.
The first place medium-weight lamb was raised by Brent Hays, and the first place medium-heavy lamb was raised by Annie Kuenstler.
Other youth raising lambs which placed in the top three of their respective classes were: Kari Dominguez… Kassidie Jackson… Presley Jackson… Shelbie Peterson… Kaitlyn Reed… and Ronnie Simmons.
