City of Rocks is located between Deming and Silver City.
The program will begin with a laser-guided bright star and constellation tour.
Then attendees will observe highlights of the April sky, including the moon at over 28 days old, Jupiter rising as Venus sets, and Omega Centaurus visible.
The program will be presented by Bill Nigg.
The program this Saturday, April 14th, will be viewed in a dark sky setting beginning at about 8:50 p.m., and attendees should arrive at the park at sunset, which is at about 7:40 p.m., so they can become familiar with their surroundings before nightfall.
The program will end at about 10:20 p.m.
