Totsie Slover, who hosts the program “Real West from the Old West” Wednesday mornings on KOTS-AM, was nominated for Disc Jockey of the Year by the national organization.
Slover, who works full-time as a realtor with Deming Realty Company, is one of five radio personalities nominated for the honor – and the only one from New Mexico.
She joins announcers from Texas, California, Colorado and Idaho in achieving the honor of being nominated.
Ballots will be sent to Western Music Association members in September, and the winner will be announced at the 2014 WMA Awards Show on Saturday, November 15th, in Albuquerque.
“Real West from the Old West” with Slover can be heard Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-noon on AM-1230 KOTS.
