(Deming) – The Deming-Luna County Commission on Aging will hold a public hearing this Wednesday on issues of importance to area senior citizens.
The hearing is being held to give Luna County seniors an opportunity to participate in the planning of services and programs for the community.
Organizers say it is a forum for senior citizens to voice their concerns, problems and comments on what is needed to help provide seniors a quality life as well as protect them against abuse, neglect and exploitation.
The public hearing, set for this Wednesday, June 12th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Deming Senior Center, 800 S. Granite, will be conducted in both English and Spanish.
All senior citizens and interested persons are invited to attend.
