The hearing is being held to give Luna County seniors an opportunity to participate in the planning of services and programs for the community.
Organizers say it is a forum for senior citizens to voice their concerns, problems and comments on what is needed to help provide seniors a quality life as well as protect them against abuse, neglect and exploitation.
The public hearing, set for Wednesday, June 12th at 10:30 a.m. at the Deming Senior Center, 800 S. Granite, will be conducted in English and Spanish.
All senior citizens and interested persons are invited to attend.
