
Sheriff’s Lieutenant Joy Mullins said the department also will be doing selective traffic enforcement throughout the month as part of the department’s effort to enforce driving laws.
Mullins said that includes, but is not limited to, speeding, seatbelt and child restraint use, texting while driving, and any other traffic violations.
The ENDWI checkpoint is scheduled for St. Patrick’s Day – Thursday, March 17th – within the county.
Law enforcement officers remind drivers to watch their speed, properly buckle themselves and their children, never text while driving or otherwise drive distracted, and never drive impaired.
