
(Deming) – There will be an open casting call this Friday for “Enemy Way,” the movie starring Forest Whitaker to be filmed in Deming.
Officials with On Location Casting have announced that they will be casting hundreds of extras, featured extras and a few stand-ins from the local area.
The open call is for persons of all ages and types.
Talent specs include a motorcycle double for star Forest Whitaker, and all ethnicities of extras – male and female – to work as Border Patrol agents and other law enforcement or medical first responders, upscale politician-types with professional attire, Mexican cumbia musicians and Latin dancers, Hispanic laborers, waiters and waitresses, hikers, Mosque attendees, and more. All ages are welcome.
They also are looking for drivers with vehicles that are not red, white or black.
The shoot dates will be April 3rd through May 3rd, with various time requirements depending on the role.
Compensation is listed as minimum wage or higher, with overtime after eight hours and lunch and snacks provided.
