DEMING – Monday’s Memorial Day holiday means poly cart trash pickup throughout the city will be delayed one day next week.
Deming residents who typically have their carts picked up by Universal Waste Systems on Monday will instead have their carts picked up on Tuesday, June 1st. Tuesday pickups will be Wednesday, and so on through the week.
Residents are asked to have their carts out by 7 a.m. on their designated day.
Also, city officials have announced the Deming/Luna County transfer station will be closed on Memorial Day.
